Marissa is an experienced practitioner and leader who joined Mamre to develop the Allied Health service. Marissa also lead’s Mamre’s involvement in the Decision Making Possibilities project with WA’s Individualised Services, Sotica and Decision Agency.

Much of Marissa’s work centres around enabling people to find their voice and have more say about what is important to them. Marissa specialises in creating individualised approaches to therapy and is passionate about creating positive environments and services that allow people, their families, and therapists to thrive.

Marissa is member of the Independent Advisory Council’s Intellectual Disability Reference Group to the NDIA, working with self-advocates and community members to influence positive change in the NDIS.

Marissa is a mum to a rambunctious child who loves beach romps, picnics, and hammock hangs.

MARISSA CARLYON

Jayne is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist who works with children, adolescents and adults.

Jayne is passionate about supporting children with more complex neurological conditions and loves to work alongside OTs to find creative solutions. She also excels at helping people find their voice through AAC. Jayne loves enabling people and their support networks to develop a shared understanding of communication, empowering everyone to communicate their thoughts and needs.

Having lived and worked in Darwin for many years, Jayne now happily calls Brisbane home.

JAYNE GRAHAM

Speech Language Pathologist

Victoria is a speech pathologist who has experience working with children, adolescents and adults and their families and carers to support their communication and swallowing needs. She has worked across a range of settings including outpatient clinics, home environments, residential aged care facilities and private hospitals providing speech pathology services. These services included the assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders, voice disorders, central auditory processing disorder, voice disorders, stuttering, and swallowing disorders. Victoria is passionate about supporting her clients to meet their potential in therapy and in life.

Victoria is sporty and as a rower, loves to be on the water. She can often be found with a coffee in her hand.

Kayla is an experienced Speech Pathologist who enjoys supporting people of all ages, and their support networks, to achieve individualised and unique goals.

Kayla believes that when delivering communication support, there is not always a one size fits all communication method for everyone.

Kayla is highly experienced in supporting complex mealtime management and oral care issues and strives to create a safe and enjoyable mealtime environment that meets each person’s goal.

In her spare time, Kayla enjoys spending time at home with her husband and their young daughter and working out at the gym.

KAYLA MCLEAN

Speech Language Pathologist

Kathleen is an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working alongside children, adults, and their important people.

She is skilled in helping with sensory processing, fine motor, daily living skills and independence.

Kathleen is passionate about taking the time to truly understand each person she works with and what is important to them, as well as their support networks.

She enjoys supporting people and their families to achieve their goals.

When not at Mamre, Kathleen enjoys playing netball and touch footy, and enjoys beach trips.

Sally is our people person and drives positive relationships with our customers to ensure therapy occurs in the best-fit way for each person.

Sally is often the first person who you’ll speak with and will always prioritise getting to know you and what’s important to you.

Sally also heads up our therapy administration team.

At home, Sally is mum to four incredible kids and adores seeing the world through their eyes.

She has also been on the speech therapy journey with one of her little ones.

Jess is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist who enjoys working with children, teenagers, and adults.

Jess is passionate about providing one on one, unique, and creative services to help people communicate and improve engagement and relationships. She loves to upskill all the important people in a person’s life through training, problem-solving and connecting. She is passionate about unique, personalised support and really ‘gets’ the Mamre way.

When not at Mamre, Jess is at home with her husband, two spirited children and their giant German Shepherd, Zeus.

Kimberley is a speech pathologist who has experience working across many areas of communication including speech, fluency, and alternative forms of communication.

Kimberley enjoys working with people of all ages.

She loves helping young children build understanding of their world and develop language skills to share their feelings, messages and stories.

When not at work, Kimberley enjoys art, spending time with her dog, and cultivating her plant collection.

Speech Language Pathologist

Heather is an Occupational Therapist, who enjoys working with people of all ages to make gains towards their goals.

Heather has experience in prescribing assistive technology solutions, promoting people to learn new skills, assisting people to build their existing abilities with a strengths-based focus, and helping people to modify tasks to suit their abilities and personal circumstances.

Heather greatly values establishing trusting relationships with supported people and their supports, to help facilitate and enable them to engage in all aspects of daily life.

When not at Mamre, Heather enjoys doing crafts, playing boardgames with friends and family.
