The festive season has well and truly started at Mamre and members have been busy spreading Christmas cheer throughout the community. A few have even sent through some fabulous photos. Here is what Mamre members have been up to over the past week:
Lydia (left) recently caught up with her support worker Christine (right) to make Christmas crafts. What a fun time of year! What are some of your favourite Christmas decorations?
Earlier in the week, Lydia also headed out to lunch with her support team, Christine and Jennifer, for an end-of-year catch up. The trio enjoyed a meal at Dragonfly Café in the green terrace at Eden’s Garden in Carseldine
Anne (third from the right), who’s been a big part of the Mamre community for years, got into the festive spirit early and hosted a beautiful afternoon tea for her support team. It was a wonderful afternoon with plenty of laughs, stories and Christmas cheer.
Meanwhile, Anita had the pleasure of attending the annual Lighting of the Brisbane Christmas Tree on Friday evening with her support worker Sharon. Thank you for sending through these magnificent photos, Anita.
Do you have a festive story you would love to share? Feel free to email Penelope with your story and photos. You can find more stories from our community here.
