Mamre’s 2022 Community Christmas Party
Mamre's annual Community Christmas Party may have looked a little different this year, but that doesn't mean there wasn't plenty of cheer at the Mamre office this holiday season!
Build skills that last a lifetime
Communication is a fundamental aspect of life. Our speech pathologists (affectionately known as Speechies) work with you to develop your literacy, speech, and language skills.
A speech pathologist will help you better communicate your wishes, preferences, comments, and feelings to those around you. This can help build and strengthen your relationships. As well as help express who you are! Speech pathologists are also able to assist with mealtimes and eating, drinking and swallowing.

Play is a child’s occupation. Play lights up a child’s brain for learning and supports children to explore, engage, express themselves, use their imagination and make decisions.
The early years are important for children’s development and growth. A Speech Therapist will help your child learn new skills in play, communication, social connection, movement, behaviour and problem solving.
Having access to literacy means you can say what you want regardless of the way you communicate. Our team can assist with reading and writing for all ages.

Supported decision making empowers people with complex communication needs to be in control of what happens in their life. Our team will work with you and your network to ensure your choices are heard and honoured.
Speech Therapists assist you with eating and drinking, plus offer support for swallowing, developing mealtime plans and making sure you have the tools to make eating and drinking easier.
There are a range of speech, language, literacy and communication assessments. An assessment gives you information to make a plan for what you want to achieve and what support you need.
