Out with the old, in with the new; Dynamics and Employment Hero are coming to you

As you may have heard, we’re making a change to improve our systems and to help make each team members life just a little easier.

After extensive research and consultation, we’re bringing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Employment Hero to you.

  • Dynamics is a customer relationship management (CRM) tool. It will act as our central database and support our interactions to build better relationships with supported people and families.
  • Employment Hero is a human resources management (HRM) tool. It will serve as our central system for all employees and assist with everything from recruitment, onboarding, payroll, timesheets and more.

These new programs will provide the tools and resources that each team needs so that we can spend more time doing what we do best – providing quality services to the people we support and their families.

What does this mean?

Over the coming months, the project team will be working to ensure a smooth rollout. Over time, you will start to see the benefits including:

    • New team members and new supported persons will experience a smooth and seamless introduction to Mamre.
    • Easily accessible forms with electronic signatures (fewer trips to Officeworks for your printing and scanning!)
    • Shift bidding will allow you to easily accept shifts from your mobile phone
    • Easier communication with the rostering and payroll teams
    • Simple timesheet submissions
    • These are just a few of the many benefits. These improved systems will give us the agility and flexibility we need to spend less time on the administrative tasks of your role and more time dedicated to the people you support.

What does this mean for me and my role?

Support workers will notice changes to the applications you currently use for timesheets and rostering, as well as new ways to manage your own personal information and qualifications.  Of course, we will still be here to guide you and train you when the time comes.

What’s next?

From time to time, we will share updates in the Team Talk newsletter and by email to keep you updated on the progress of the rollout. There will be times where your input will be particularly needed and we will provide additional details for training.

Key Dates

We will be sending out further communications when an official go-live date for these new systems, as well as training dates, have been decided upon. We want to ensure this transition to Dynamics 365 and Employment Hero is as smooth as possible and that everything is ready for our team to hop straight in when we officially change over.
